מְגִיסָא, מְגוּסָאch. 1) same, plate, dish. Targ. Ps. 123:2 מודיקין … מ׳וכ׳ looking out for (the remnant of) a dish at the hands of their masters (in ed. Wil. our w. omitted); Targ. Y. Num. 11:6 (not דמוריק).Lev. R. s. 28 כיון דהוה מ׳ עליל whenever a dish was brought in; ib. וכיון דמְגוּסִי עליל as soon as a dish of mine comes in; (Koh.
